Description
This is a collection of hand woven textile sculptures by fiber artist Barbara Coburn created in the 1970s and designed to be suspended from the ceiling. This listing is for all three examples we currently have available. They present very well as a set.
Barbara was a student of Jane Knight who taught at Cranbrook in the 1970's. We also have a smaller wall mounted woven mandala by Coburn available. Crafted of wool and copper, these examples were stored in plastic for many years and are very well preserved. Free of dust and odors. They will add an organic feel to any space that needs some sculptural appeal to round it out.
