Description
Japanese Meiji silver cocktail shaker, ca 1910. Tapering and girdled bowl with curved shoulder, high-looping handle, and stubby spout with chained cap. Cork-lined cover with scroll-bracket handle. Wraparound tail-chasing dragon with horns and fangs and talons in scaly relief on stippled ground. Both cap and cover twist-lock for containing the potent concoction. Japanese marks and “Sterling”. Very good condition.
