George I Burl Walnut Side Chair
-
Description
This is an extremely handsome George II Burl Walnut side chair. The chair, in the style of Giles Grendey, features a finely carved shell to the crest rail, beautiful burl walnut veneer, carved knees and claw and ball feet. The compass seat has retained its 18th century needlework cushion and original seat frame. The chair is in overall very good condition. Although it has been refinished at some point the current surface is old with a fine luster.
