Orientalist KPM porcelain plaque of interior scene

Painted in the Orientalist style, this German KPM porcelain plaque depicts an interior scene with three figures. The two male figures, who are both Arabic, are portrayed in deep conversation, while a European woman listens intently. The surrounding interior is filled with a variety of Middle Eastern or North African style objects, including rugs, a huqqah, and a Moorish table.

The plaque is signed indistinctly to the lower right corner and features a KPM stamp on the reverse. It is held in an ornate giltwood frame.
