Greek 18th Century Terracotta Olive Oil Jar

$ 3,600
  • Description
    Impressive Greek olive jar from the 18th century, the terracotta darkened by natural oils and three centuries of use. This antique vessel, once used to hold olives and their oil, features a rounded lip around the narrow opening, with a bulbous form that tapers to the bottom. The jar is nicely decorated with ribbed details, encircling the body at equidistant ridges. Authentic patination makes an inspiring moment in your interior–with or without greenery–on the patio, or in the garden. Please view the detailed images.
