Fish Sculpture Teak Root Handcarved On Black Laquered Base, Indonesia 2023

$ 1,100
  • Description
    One of a kind organic modern fish sculpture coming out of Java, one of the four large so-called "sudan islands" of Indonesian. This incredible decorative fish sculpture is made out of a teak root which has been carefully selected and artfully handcarved by a very talented artist from the island. Following the natural grown shape of the root, the artist created an absolute eyecatching modern sculpture. The lacquer work in white/beige and black is matchless and confers this piece a very unique look. Mounted on a black laquered wooden base, this large organic fish sculpture could be the perfect addition for a house on the beach, a pool house or a maritime themed interior design.
