Rustic Black Forest wall mirror from the late 19th century in Austria. Beautifully hand carved out of basswood circa 1880, this unusual wall mirror shows a special tree branch styled frame combined with a very dark brown nearly black surface sealed by a mat varnish finish. A lovely antique rural mirror coming in perfect restored condition with a renewed mirror glass. A hand forged metal clamp on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
