Antique Italian painting from the second half of the 17th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting a portrait of an old lady, The widow of the pharmacist from Trento, of good pictorial quality. Particular subject of great size and strong visual impact adorned with a 19th century frame, in wood and plaster, sculpted, ebonized and gilded. Artwork rich in decorative elements, the pharmacy jars to the left of the figure are very pleasant. The widow in a dark dress with finely finished lace and lace is very well painted. A writing (bottom left) offers information on the place and on the character portrayed (see photo). Painting that has undergone conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the frame and recovery of color in some places (see photo). Overall, the painting is in a good state of conservation. Sight size H 107 x W 82 cm.
