-
Description
Rare, anthropomorphic cabinet made by Myron "Mike" Nevelson in solid pine, pine plywood and turned, laminated pine wood with nine drawers. Mike Nevelson was the son of Louise Nevelson, the "pioneering grande dame of the art world" (Louise Nevelson Foundation) and a creative wood sculptor in his own right. Each drawer is signed 1-9 and has a removable wood shaving artwork. The cabinet comes with a white laminate-over-wood display platform on castors that is original to the piece and is stamped with his name and address.
