Description
Coffee table by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne. The table, part of the Chin Yin collection, blending intricate etching, patination, and polychrome techniques on bronze and pewter. Featuring an enchanting Chinoiseries motif, showcasing a figural courtyard scene with 14 female attendants immersed in music and dance. This lively scene is further enhanced by details of incense burners, trees, and birds, bringing the tableau to life. The table’s window panes are finished with an iridescent coating, enhancing its visual appeal. Signed lower center.
