Superb and rare English marine or campaign chest from the 18th century circa 1740 from the Captain John Asher
Very beautiful marine chest with its brass decorations and its carrying handles which gives it a lot of character.
In addition, it has superb entrances as well as two drawers which is unusual
very beautiful work probably from the port of Canton.
It is rare to find a chest with such a beautiful original patina. In addition all the faces are made of a single wood plank.
