Great French painting from the second half of the 19th century. Oil on canvas artwork, first canvas, depicting the return of the soldiers after the battle, of good pictorial quality. Risorgimento style painting with numerous masterfully painted soldiers on horseback. 20th century frame in wood and plaster, carved and gilded, highly decorative. Painting of monumental dimensions that develops vertically, ideal for inclusion in an important hall or study. It has a signature on the bottom right under study (see photo). Painting that underwent conservative restoration during the 20th century, overall in good condition. Sight size H 150 x W 111 cm.
