Alberto Rosselli for Saporiti pair of Confidential armchairs 1970
-
Description
Nice pair of Confidential lounge chairs designed by Italian architect Alberto Rosselli in 1972 for Saporiti Italia. These Confidential seatings are 1970s iconic pieces, recognizable by its ingenious design showing a functional connection between the backrest and cushion, making it a defining feature of the Confidential serie. The frame is made of solid wood, while the seats are supported by high-density foam cushions, which provide a very comfortable seating experience. These armchairs have been fully restored, seating foam replaced, and reupholstered with a light blue chevron fabric from Pierre Frey.
Alberto Rosselli was famously known for his partnership in the architectural practice, Studio Ponti-Fornaroli-Rosselli (P.F.R.), from 1952 to 1976. -
