This Tonico three-seat sofa, designed by Sergio Rodrigues around 1963, is a masterpiece of Brazilian modernist design. The name "Tonico" was inspired by Rodrigues' brother-in-law, who, upon sitting in the chair, declared, "I don’t need anything else, this is perfect."
