French 19th Century Louis Philippe Bibliotheque
-
Description
A narrow, 19th century French Louis Philippe style bibliothèque or bookcase, handcrafted of mahogany with two glass-front doors for displaying treasured books, heirlooms, or trophies in an office or library. The clean, straight lines allow this timeless design to fit any number of traditional and transitional decorating tastes. Behind the locking doors–and most likely the original glass panes–are six interior shelves that are adjustable on sawtooth brackets to easily reconfigure as needed. The dark wood has been cleaned and polished with a French paste wax to bring out the rich grain pattern and historic patina, ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images.
