Superbly crafted in late 19th century France, this exquisite cane exemplifies superior craftsmanship, incorporating premium materials with remarkable precision and intricate detailing.

The elegant handle, carved from rich onyx, is adorned with silver-gilt embellishments, featuring delicate openwork scrolls interwoven with floral motifs, including irises. At its pinnacle, a finely sculpted cameo portrait of a Roman figure, possibly Zeus, the god of the sky, is set against the deep onyx background, creating a striking visual contrast.

The slender hardwood shaft tapers gracefully before concluding with a brass ferrule.
