Description
A Tudor fire surround with solid oak lintel supported on limestone uprights. Lintel is decorated with a Tudor rose on both sides.
Recently removed from the Guildford Estate which was originally owned by the industrialist George W. Elkins.Guildford was built with 16th century and later English Tudor architectural elements imported from Guildford, England and meticulously carried from England to Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania and reassembled by European craftsmen.
