This exceptional two-seater sofa was designed by Cesare Lacca and produced in Italy in the early 1950s. The elegant, rounded lines of the backrest and curved seat create a sophisticated variation on the conversation sofa or loveseat. Thanks to a completely renewed, fully sprung interior, the sofa offers exceptional comfort. Its tapered, solid walnut legs are angled gracefully, enhancing the design's dynamic silhouette.
This piece has been reupholstered in exquisite Fadini Borghi (part of La Maison Pierre Frey) crushed velvet, a fabric renowned for its opulent texture and dynamic play of light. The distinctive "crushed" effect creates a rich, irregular pattern that shimmers beautifully from every angle. This technique gives the fabric a multidimensional look, with shades that dance between brown, copper, and golden undertones, depending on the light and perspective.
The entire interior upholstery has been meticulously reconditioned and renewed for optimal comfort and durability. Additionally, the legs have been refinished in a warm brown stain.
