A beautiful vintage Thonet style bentwood hall tree, coat/hat stand. The bentwood body of this stand is well designed and thoughtfully crafted. Features a molded top which turns, with six “S” shaped sturdy coat hooks and six bentwood scrolls for hats, surrounding the top to evenly distribute weight, for coats, hats and jackets. The bentwood top is raised over a center column capped with a decorative finial, resting on a tripod base for stability, with a ring for umbrella. This free-standing coat rack is a beautiful stylish design, overall a masterpiece of craftsmanship.
Condition Report: In very good vintage condition. All joints are sturdy and tight, wood in good condition with a light patina.
