Antique Gorham Coin Silver Cruet Stand in Classical Medallion

Medallion coin silver cruet stand. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1860. U-form handle mounted to columnar shaft threaded through 4-ring frame on tapering pillars; solid quatrefoil base on brackets. Stippled rondels with Classical profiles mounted to handle and pillars except one which has engraved monogram. Acanthus leaves applied to pillars and engraved on brackets. Marks: Maker’s stamp and no. 500 Very good condition. Dimensions: H 12 1/4 x W 5 x D 5 in.
With: Medallion sterling silver mustard spoon. Single letter monogram (M) engraved on verso. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (Gorham) and patent year (1864). Very good condition. Height: 5 3/8 in.
With: Four cut-glass bottles. Two fluted with stoppers. Two have half-fluting, acid-etched fretwork borders, and silver-plated covers of which one flat and pierced and the other domed and hinged. Condition: Minor chipping and fleabites. Tallest: 8 in.
