Description
An exceptionally fine and elegant circa 1815 English George III regency period console table of unusual design and striking mahogany veneers, the rectangular reeded-edge fold-over top with canted front corners, brass line inlay borders, and corresponding flat friezes above brass inlaid quadriform scroll supports with center gilt-metal boss mounted brace on concave-sided platform base with carved and gilt-metal mounted scroll feet with concealed casters. The top swivels sideways to support the fold-over top when opened.
