Pair of French Classical 950 silver chambersticks. Made by Odiot in Paris, ca 1850. Each: Bellied socket mounted to raised center of round saucer. Scroll handle with thumb rest; snuffer conical with vasiform finial. Gadrooning. Engraved armorial with monogram ASR. Nice heft and balance. A strong wrist required. Fully marked maker’s stamp and Minerva head. Good condition. Minor wear and bungs from knocking about the family chateau after dark.
