Pair of Victorian Rococo sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Howard & Co. in New York in 1898. Knopped shaft with twisted and beaded fluting on raised and shaped foot with flowers and leaves. Socket has detachable square bobeche. Eighteenth-century dynamism that shimmers beautifully by candlelight. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, year, and no. 284A. Very good condition.
