Wedgwood Majolica cheese keep which features a country scene around the outside, depicting cows, farmers and a maid milking. The top features a cow finial. Colouration: blue, green, white, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1872.
