This unique pair of Maison Baguès chinoiserie end tables was created in the early 1940s with solid bamboo shaped bronze structure and a chinese decor lacquered top picturing birds and butterflies on a flowered tree. This table is typical of the Chinese inspired neoclassical work of Maison Baguès in the 1940s, and offers a timeless, sophisticated look, with plenty of amazing details. The bronze structure has been fully cleaned and polished, and has a beautiful patina, while the Chinese lacquer tops have been fully revarnished. These tables are now found in an amazing condition. These are rare finds, and real statement pieces.
