Piero Zen Wooden Liberty Vitrine 1900

$ 6,000
  • Description
    Piero Zen, son of Carlo Zen (1851-1918), was one of the most important designers and manufacturers of Art Nouveau furniture in Italy. His activity - the factory was located in via Stelvio in Milan, with the name of "Italian Furniture Factory", while that of his father Carlo was originally located in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and then in via Nino Bixio - constitutes one of the most relevant aspects of Italian and European liberty both for its formal elegance and for its refinement "in the stylization of the inlay with geometrised vegetal motifs of exceptional quality".
    Here we have a beautiful display cabinet with wooden structure and glass, decorated at the base with a band inlaid in light wood and mother of pearl to depict a garland of flowers.
    In very good condition and ready to be shipped.
