Modern sterling silver desk box. Made by Towle in Newburyport, Mass., ca 1950. Rectangular with straight sides. Cover curved and hinged with flat and narrow rim. Box interior cedar-lined and partitioned. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 242. Very good condition.
