20th Century Art Nouveau Salon Suite with Round Table by Thonet, AT ca. 1910
-
Description
Fantastic looking, early 20th century salon suite by Thonet from the Art Nouveau period in Austria around 1910. Attributed to the famous Austrian architect and designer Otto Wagner, this beechwood suite consists of four amazing designed chairs, all newly upholstered in fine crème colored leather, and a beautiful round table. The glossy black lacquered table plate sits on a wonderfully shaped column showing an unusual bar design in the upper part. The artfully crafted hammer-finished brass base completes the incredible look of this one of a kind bentwood salon suite. This is a perfect example which shows how timeless the designs of Otto Wagner still are.
