Made to order from our Bespoke Upholstery collection, the Langton is a compact and elegant armchair, perfect for any room of the house, featuring a sprung seat and back for utmost comfort. It is all sophistication and versatility with neat, Classic Howard arms and considered proportions to suit statement areas of any space. A versatile armchair with turned legs and sewn in cushioned back that combines comfort and style.

We build our Langton Armchair up from a hardwood beech frame, using only traditional methods and materials. With hand-tied coil-springs, there is no foam used in the build-up. What makes this sofa so comfortable is the high down content (50% down, 50% feather in seat, and 70% down, 30% feather in back. The down gives the cushion lovely softness, while the feathers provide loft and spring.

The castors are individually hand-cast by traditional English metal crafters to a very high standard and a variety of finishes can be achieved. We use an antique brass finish as standard.

The legs are turned and come in a variety of woods and finishes. We use tapered medium oak legs as our standard finish, as shown here.

The Langton Armchair, like all of our models, can be made completely bespoke. We want this to be your perfect sofa.

The price excludes fabric. If you need some help finding the perfect fabric, let us know. It takes approximately 6 metres in a plain fabric to cover a standard armchair.
