Books and Topographies Blue N1 belongs to the new collection by Javier Velarde. This collection explores the relationship between domestic and natural spaces, symbolizing a damaged domesticity. The home, traditionally associated with well-being, is disrupted by an uncontrollable circumstance that transforms it into an unsafe and hostile place. Through assemblages and the use of books as domestic elements, the artist creates “domestic natures,” representing the emotional storms we experience in the intimacy of our homes.

Materials: Presented in lacquered die-cut wood and methacrylate.

Every item LA Studio offers is checked by our team of 10 craftsmen in our in-house workshop. Special restoration or reupholstery requests can be done. Lighting can be electrified to the required voltage.

Every piece design of LA Studio or new production as they are made with natural materials or made by artisans they may vary in wood color, marble color or wood grain, etc.
