Great 18th century Italian seascape painting

Description
Splendid Italian landscape painting from the second half of the 18th century. Oil on canvas depicting a seascape of remarkable pictorial quality, rich in figures and minute details. Immersed in an Arcadian atmosphere, we find several characters in the foreground busy with the catch while in the center we see some boats. The entire scene and its protagonists are immersed in a lush landscape, rich in valuable naturalistic details. In the distance, the mountains and a twilight sky give depth to the composition, pushing the gaze towards the horizon. 20th century frame in carved, gilded and lacquered wood, with some signs of aging. Painting already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and repainting of the color in small spots. Overall in good state of conservation. Interior size H 97 x W 135 cm.
