French Vintage Horn Bouillote Style Chandelier
-
Description
A charming vintage French horn brass chandelier from the mid-20th century, based on earlier bouillote style table lamps. Three arms shaped like miniature horn instruments terminate in flared cones to support the candle covers of the electrical wiring. The shared drum shade is painted a deep spruce green on the exterior and is trimmed with a fine ribbon of foliate design on the bottom edge. Gold foil wrapping the interior amplifies the effect of the three chandelier-base bulbs for a gilded effect to softly illuminate the room. The finish of the metal has taken an oxidized patina developed over the past century-plus for beautiful depth. Professionally cleaned and wired for US electrical using UL certified parts, ready to hang in your interior. Please view the detailed images.
