French Pair of Louis XVI Style Brass Lanterns
-
Description
A lovely pair of vintage French brass hall lanterns with Louis XVI motifs for a sophisticated touch of glamour on the gleaming metal. Descending from polished ceiling canopies featuring a beaded detail and a short stem, each light fixture is supported by brackets ending in artichoke finials around the crown, also defined by a beaded texture. The fluted column inside the glass cylinder houses the wiring for the three candle covers that take chandelier-base bulbs. External pillars holding in the glass are crossed at the middle with a ribbon detail to underscore the Louis XVI inspiration, terminating at the bottom edge in duplicate artichoke finials–same as above. The fixtures have been professionally cleaned and rewired for use in the US using UL-listed components, ready to hang in your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more of these eyecatching fixtures. Sold as a pair.
