Pair of George III sterling silver goblets. Made by John Emes in London in 1802. Each: Ovoid bowl on flange; raised and reeded foot. Engraved armorial with Latin motto “Pax Aut Bellum” (translation: “Either Peace or War”) and interlaced script monogram. Gilt interior. Spare Georgian Neoclassicism for a historic vintage. Fully marked. Very good condition.
