  • Description
    Edwardian sterling silver basket with blackberry motif. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Plain and solid well. Curved and open sides comprising fruiting blackberry branches heightened with engraving. Open and scrolled rim with more succulent fruit in relief. C-scroll swing handle same with scrolled frame engraved with interlaced script monogram. With detachable silver-plated liner.

    A great high-low design suggestive of rustic pleasures expressed in precious metal. Capacious. Holds lots of charm.

    Both basket and liner fully marked including maker’s stamp and director’s letter C (1902-7). Basket has pattern no. 16201 (first produced in 1904). Very good condition. Liner has wear and abrasion.
