Pair Aluminum Bill Curry Handmade Oversize Jacks - Jax Bookends Doorstops 1960s
-
Description
Designed by Bill Curry, these oversize jacks were made by Design Line in California. Many variants of these exist, but all were made the same way. First, the general shape is cast, as shown by the casting marks on the jacks, then they were placed in a lathe, where the bright tips could be machined and polished. This results in a high contrast look and a warm presence while maintaining quality and practicality.
In great vintage and original condition. No breaks, cracks, or repairs. Signs of reagular use.
At the time of listing, we have a pair made of bronze as well. Reach out or search our storefront! -
