Description
The simple elegance of the Anemone Pendant Lamp provides an eye-catching aesthetic in any home while diffusing ambient light. The elaborate body is crafted entirely of Banaca (banana-abaca), an organic fabric molded by hand with special techniques to retain its unique shape inspired by the soft-bodied sea creatures that give the collection its name. The lampshade reveals the distinctive flower-like pattern that will add a captivating accent in a bedroom, foyer, or suspended above a round dining table.

About Mirei Monticelli:

Mirei is a Milan-based multidisciplinary designer who started her career in her birthplace, the Philippines. Working from her roots has exposed her to the world of traditional manufacturing and production of furniture, where everything is made by hand. This environment exposed her to the beautiful world of artisan crafts, but then gave her the yearning to explore state-of-the-art techniques that come from the western world. Graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 2017 with a degree in Design and Engineering has given her more experience in the technical point of view. Her work spans product design, interior design, creative consultancy and art direction.
