Description
Italian Cabinet / Secretary in Teak, Metal and Black Laminate, 1960's.
Versatile and elegant, this 1960s Italian cabinet combines functionality with refined details. The piece is primarily crafted from teak, with a base made of another dark wood, enhanced by geometrically shaped legs that blend wood and metal. Small metal blocks in the corners add a subtle industrial touch.
The cabinet features two sliding doors with a black laminate finish, concealing adjustable shelves—perfect for storing various items. On the right side, a small secretary is hidden, which can be folded out as a compact workspace or a spot for mixing a well-crafted gin and tonic. Below this section, three drawers provide additional storage.
What makes this piece special is the interplay between round and square details, creating a playful yet balanced aesthetic. The handles, made of dark wood, contribute to its refined finish. Thanks to its tall design, this cabinet is not only practical but also a stylish addition to any interior. -
