Description
Set of Two White Rib Chairs in Metal, 1950's
A set of two rib "Costella" chairs, in the style of Martin Eisler and Carlo Hauner. The chairs have a distinctive ribbed frame, originally designed around 75 years ago. The aged white paint has developed a natural patina, revealing layers of use over time. Small brass caps at the ends of the ribs add a subtle contrast and complete the industrial yet refined look.
The structure is solid, designed to support new cushions that will bring a fresh layer of comfort while keeping the integrity of the original design. This combination of old and new makes them unique—retaining their history while being fully functional for modern living.
You can choose the upholstery of the cushions yourself and the new cushions are included in the price. Maybe some light brown in thick cotton? The chairs will be shipped from Sao Paolo. -
