Exceptional, large Hollywood Regency two-arm ‘Pioggia d’Oro’ (Golden Rain) wall sconce attributed to Hans Kögl, Germany, circa 1970. Featuring metal leaves coated with gold leaf and metal blooms coated with silver leaf. Hans Kögl’s inspiration was the ‘golden rain’ tree. U. S. wired. 120 volt. Takes E12 bulbs up to 100 watts. A professional electrician has confirmed this piece is in working order. This piece has been attributed based on archival documentation, such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources.
