A captivating blend of rustic elegance and romantic charm, this early 20th-century French chandelier features a sculptural wrought iron frame delicately adorned with clear and amethyst-hued crystal drops. The design showcases the transitional character of French lighting from this period—merging the graceful curves of classical forms with the raw beauty of ironwork and the refinement of hand-cut crystal.

The chandelier’s eight scrolling arms radiate from a central crystal stem and support faux candle sleeves with a rich, aged patina that evokes the warm character of antique wax candles. The ironwork is gracefully twisted and looped into soft scrolls, lending the piece a lyrical movement that balances structure and airiness. Suspended throughout are clear faceted pendalogues, rosettes, and teardrops, which reflect and refract light beautifully.
