This elegant mid-20th-century French chandelier is a striking expression of artisanal ironwork, blending rustic strength with ornamental refinement. Hand-forged from wrought iron, the chandelier features four gracefully scrolling arms that extend outward from a finely worked central stem. Each arm is fitted with faux candle sleeves resting in delicately scalloped bobeches, enhancing the old-world aesthetic with a warm, timeworn charm.

The silhouette is defined by open curves and volutes, drawing the eye upward to a crown of richly detailed foliage. Gilt tole acanthus leaves add a luxurious contrast to the dark patinated iron, catching the light with soft golden highlights that elevate the entire composition. The interplay of iron and gilt evokes a timeless French elegance—simultaneously rustic and regal.

This chandelier would make a stunning statement in an entryway, dining room, or powder room, lending character and atmosphere to both traditional and eclectic interiors. It has been newly rewired and is ready for installation.
