Description
Colombo Mobili, Biedermeier Style, Cherrywood, Vitrine, Curio Cabinet, Breakfront, Italy, 20th C.
This exceptional Italian Biedermeier-style cabinet features a modern twist, blending timeless elegance with contemporary flair. The case, crafted from a combination of ebony-adorned cherry and yew wood, boasts three spacious, thick adjustable shelves. The cabinet's standout design includes a removable double lovebird motif, delicately entwined in arrows, which can be effortlessly detached for a more understated, subtle appearance. The top gracefully transitions into a pierced gallery, while ebony column-form sides and glass panels with gilt wood separations enhance its sophisticated allure. This is a cabinet not likely to be seen in the near future.
