Aymeric Lefort
French
Aymeric Lefort's childhood was filled with the creations of Jean Royère. His contact with this artist prompted Aymeric to pursue artistic training. He thus studied cabinetmaking at the renowned Institut Saint Luc in Tournai, Belgium, in the design department. He completed his training in cabinetmaking workshops in Brussels, in various interior design agencies, and in an upholstery workshop, always motivated by the desire to learn new facets of decorative art. A lover of true craftsmanship and a job well done, it is in this spirit that this designer designs his furniture today with the leitmotif: transcribing the history of French furniture in its richness and historical technique. Cultural heritage and "beautiful work" distinguish each of the very current and modern collections, both minimalist and sensual. The essential here defines the object. Inspired by architecture, each new creation by Aymeric Lefort offers a particularity: subtlety in the assembly of elements, in the care of finishes, the alliance of materials ... Aymeric Lefort has designed innovative furniture, where he constantly applies the rigorous techniques of cabinetmaking. From these applications are born forms with subtle assemblies whose effects of texture and color reveal an inventive elegance.
