Esteban Vicente

Esteban Vicente (1903-2001) was a renowned Spanish-American abstract expressionist painter. Born in Turégano, Spain, Vicente moved to the United States in 1936 and became an influential figure in the New York art scene. He studied at the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid and the Art Students League in New York City.
Vicente's artwork is characterized by his bold use of color, expressive brushwork, and a sense of emotional depth. He drew inspiration from his surroundings, incorporating elements of nature, landscapes, and the human figure into his abstract compositions.
