Max Weber

Max Weber is considered a pioneer of cubism in America. The Jewish-American painter explored many styles including Fauvism, Abstraction and Expressionism. Describing his painting process as his "consciousness", Weber eventually focused on Eastern European and Jewish themes in his work during his later years. Max Weber paintings art and works on paper remain popular today.
