Description
A York County Tiger Maple Tall Case Clock with the Elaborate Use of Contrasting Walnut Inlay Detail and Architectural Detail, Circa 1785.
The Original Eight Day Movement is Attributed to John Fisher.
According to historian John Snyder, the inlaid initials M.H.B. may possibly stand for (M)ichael (H)amms(B/P)acher, who appears in the 1790 census as an adult married male in Shrewsbury Township, York County. -
