Cris Notti is a graduate of the Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design. Although born and raised in Los Angeles, her first language was Italian like her parents. From them, Cris discovered the beauty of jewels at an early age. She was enamored with her father’s 5 carat diamond, platinum ring and inspired by her mother’s emerald ring that her grandfather had received as a gift from the King of Naples. Thus began a life-long passion for discovering and collecting treasures. She began her career as a fashion designer at that time she sourced jewels for her suits and gowns, and of course she purchased whatever interested her. She then went on to design bed and bath products and travel and cosmetic accessories, all the while still collecting unusual pieces of jewelry. After many years in the retail market she has closed her store and her other business's is semi-retired and back to her first passion jewelry. In her 45+ years of hands-on experience in all aspects of design from concept to manufacturing, Cris has developed an expert eye for jewelry. Cris has taken many courses on antique jewelry and traveled the world looking for specific items. She employees a gemologist from the G.I.A. to double check all her purchases making sure they are exactly as listed and includes certificates of authenticity or appraisals when done. She has amassed an amazing collection, and Cris travels abroad 2 -4 times a year looking for treasures, if there is something you are looking for, ask.
