          Jade Albert is best known for her whimsical work photographing children. Her  work has been published in major articles for Condé Nast and Hearst publications. She joined the masthead of Andy Warhol’s Interview in 1977 as a contributing photographer.
Jade has been recognized in The New York Times and Advertising Age for “gaining a reputation as one of the nation’s leading commercial children’s photographers.” And credited in American Photographer magazine with “reinventing the craft by allowing children to act as they do in real life.” Her gallery work has been on view at Time Warner for Polaroid and the Epcot Center for Kodak. Her stock imagery is represented by Getty Images and has been used for national and international campaigns including a national television commercial for Target which she directed.
Jade collaborated with Cindy Crawford on her book, About Face (Harper Collins). Jade Albert’s latest book, The Charm of Charms (Harry N. Abrams), is a combination of her innovative design concepts with her unique photography style. She lives in New York City with her muse, Alfie, a wirehaired dachshund.
