Manhattan Penthouse
Within the storied Barbizon Hotel, this spacious penthouse was created by assembling several apartments on two floors. While the resulting layout was wonderful, the ceilings ranged from 8 to 18 feet and required strong focus to celebrate the high open spaces while camouflaging the low ones. Soaring spaces were topped with signature rosette windows and robust moldings created interesting spatial punctuation reiterated in the furnishings. Warm, welcoming interiors create an inviting haven while capturing astonishing views of the city.
